way | can review what's going on in the cur-
ent issue, and use the infro as a launching

irst off, this may be the penultimate Mutate
Zine. | make no guarantees, but about 18
nonths ago, | decided that my goal for
Mutate was to put out 10 issues, then compile
hem into an anthology. So as you are read-

in DIY publication and queer culture/counter-
culture will have access to publications and
ephemera that would just disappear by their
very nature. At the time of this publication,
we have almost 100 different zines online, all

more every week, and will continue to do so

In the process of getting out and promoting
soth Mutate and QZAP (and all of the other
zine projects in my world), I've noficed a very
